
I am a Professor in the Department of Political Science and the Department of Quantitative Theory and Methods with a secondary appointment in the Department of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics at Emory University. My research focuses on causal inference and measurement for social science applications. I am co-founder and co-director of the Politics of Policing Lab at Emory. Prior to joining Emory, I held faculty positions at Harvard University. I received a PhD in Statistics from the University of Washington in 2006.
